The Allerair Pro 6 UV will be effective on any mold passing through it. Air Purifiers like Allerair and others that use internal UV and HEPA are very effective as long as the mold passes through the unit so you will want to make sure there is sufficient air flow to the unit. Typically 1 unit per a space is best. The pro 6 is a bit louder than the Pro 5 so if the 5 will work for your space and it is sound sensitive, you may want to look at the Pro 5 too.
