Hello, thank you for reaching out. Diesel exhaust has multiple chemicals and particle matter in it.
Diesel exhaust (DE), in addition to DEPs, contains a complex mixture of gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), nitric oxides (NO, NO 2 ), sulphur dioxide (SO 2 ), hydrocarbons, formaldehyde, transition metals and carbon particles--ERS Publications
If your focus is strictly the chemical contaminants, then the HEAVY VOC ES3X is a good option. You may want to choose the formaldezorb carbon too for better absorption of the formaldehyde. However, if you would also like the ultrafines, it is recommended to choose the moderate VOC unit and keep the HEPA filtration. This is found here: https://www.usairpurifiers.com/amaircare-ES3X-Tri-hepa-air-filtration-system-mod-voc.html.
We have other options too for industrial use and garages they may work even better for you depending on your specific needs. Please reach out to us directly at contactus@usairpurifiers.com or 888-231-1463 ext 1 to review your specific case.
Thank you,
