Hello, Austin quotes 5 yrs for a filter. When budgeting, we recommend 3-5 years since their HEPA and Carbon filters are combined into 1. Typically a HEPA can last 2-5 years where carbon typically is up to 2 (maybe 3) years. For this reason, if your prime issue is chemical, odor, or gases, the Austin filter very likely may need replaced prior to the 5 year period.
Often clients will clean or change the prefilter in the interim too.
