Hello, thank you for reaching out. The 3000 although an excellent model, I'd look at the Amaircare 4000 model or Multipro Full Carbon or Airpura C700DLX. It depends on the concentration on the area, ceiling height, and your sound tolerance of the unit in the basement. Feel free to call to discuss in more detail too.
