Hello, Sorry to hear about the difficulty with having the remote work. Normally, you will want to start with pairing troubleshooting tips.
Bluetooth Remote Pairing Troubleshooting:
1. When the unit is powered off (if applicable, connect the receiver antenna box to the fan’s speed
controller port using the provided connection cable).
2. Connect unit to power. Once the unit is powered up, you will hear a long beep from the receiver
antenna indicating that the connection is successful.
3. Within the first 5 seconds from power up, press and hold the “+” or “-“ button on the wireless
remote for 3 seconds to pair it with the receiver antenna. Once pairing is complete, the receiver
antenna will make another long beep indicating that the pairing settings have been restored.
4. Once the receiver antenna is paired with the remote, pressing the “+” or “-“ button will adjust
the speed of the fan by one level up or one level down. Each speed level change is flowed by a
single short beep from the receiver antenna and a red LED flash on the top of the remote. The
position of the red LED flash changes based on the selected speed level.
