Hello, I understand the question. The 600-series' delivered CFM is 366 on high and 246 on medium. Airpura considers medium the 'sweet spot' on a unit because the dwell time is longer to allow the VOCs to be better adsorbed per a pass since they are in the unit longer than on high. If you want to calculate air changes an hour on medium, this would give an idea of how many times the air cycles through. Air changes an hour can be calculated by multiplying (246 x 60) / (cubic footage of the room).
However, various situations depending on the VOCs and other factors that I mentioned will dictate the recommended number of air changes. For example, restaurants are 8-12 where smoking lounges are 20-30 ACH. Some of our commercial suppliers will only quote 10 as a minimum.
