Hello,
Because this is a filter and filter framing cannot typically be customized, a handle cannot be added. If too heavy, I'd recommend asking for a friend or neighbor's assistance with exchanging the filter. A handle is a great idea, I will be sure to share that with our manufacturers as a handle would certainly help folks that are unable to lift the 30 pounds.
