Hello, Amaircare recommends changing the VOC canister once a year and washing the foam prefilter when dirty (estimated 4-6 months). The other filter in this unit is the HEPA which is recommended to change every 3-5 years. We do have a filter reminder program that will send an email with the links if you like a friendly reminder too.
Everyone's situation can vary due to the contamination levels in their space along with usage so the guidelines above are an estimate.
